Petzi Beneš (Petzi/they/them) is a research assistant at MMRC in the research project Reverse Ethnomusicology: Migrant Musicians as Researchers (TAI724).

Petzi Beneš has been studying musicology at the University of Vienna since 2018. Since graduating with a BA in 2022, they have been studying for a master's degree with a focus on ethnomusicology, as well as cultural and social anthropology (MA) as a second degree. In addition, they work at the media production company FQM, which also uses anthropological approaches for its products in the field of audiovisual communication.
