With the contributors to the lecture: Anna Morcom, Maliha Mohsin and Tsering Wangmo Satho

Who gets to speak, who is represented, and who remains invisible? How can research challenge marginalization without reproducing it? Building on the MMRC lecture and response, this workshop invites participants to take these and related questions further, bringing their own perspectives, experiences, and questions into the conversation.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to share and explore questions and perspectives sparked by the lecture. These will serve as starting points for a broader discussion on topics such as the role of academia within structures of power, questions of representation and collaborative research, and the promises and limitations of digital self-representation.

The workshop welcomes researchers at all career stages, musicians, practitioners, and anyone interested in these questions, regardless of their academic or professional background.

Please note that attendance at the lecture on the previous day is recommended to participate in the workshop.
